2. Demonstrators

  1. The SECMAT ASIC (130 nm technology from STMicroelectronics). The chip is presented at ESSDERC / ESSCIRC 2005.
  2. GNU/Linux running encyphered programs on the x86 processor emulator BOCHS.
  3. To come: a processor synthesized in an FPGA implementing CryptoPage cryptographic hardware and running encyphered programs.

3. Conferences / courses / panels organization

  1. JNRDM 2005. The eighth edition of the JNRDM will be held at Télécom Paris, from the 10th to the 12nd may 2005. 151 papers have been selected. Expected attendance is over 200. A new session (session 8: "Sécurité, cartes à puces") has been created on the topics of security. The GET, the ENST and its "École Doctorale" EDITE are sponsoring the event.
  2. Creation of a course on 'security of security hardware' (Brief description) in the Real time and Embedded Systems curriculum of the Institut Eurécom (Renaud PACALET).
  3. Creation of a case study on security in the 'AAA' course at the ENST (Jean-Luc DANGER, Sylvain GUILLEY).
  4. Creation of the course 'sécurité des circuits électroniques' in the life-long learning curriculum at the ENST (Sylvain GUILLEY & Philippe HOOGVORST). The first occurrence was on Sept. 29-30th 2005, with attendance of 11. The second occurrence is scheduled in April 2006.
  5. Participation to the ENST quantum seminar, animated by Romain ALLEAUME. Two lectures given: "from qubits to algorithms" and "computation models".
  6. Participation to the CryptArchi seminar, from June 9th to 10th 2005, at Le Bessat near Saint-Etienne.
